Private Gardens

Landscape design for a new-build home in Marbella, developed as a series of contrasting garden environments responding to architecture, climate and changing conditions around the property.

Shaded areas support lush, almost jungle-like planting, while the sunnier rear garden uses a more restrained, drought-tolerant Mediterranean palette. Within the wide plot, a raised island bed and circular pergola create movement and partially concealed spaces, encouraging exploration rather than allowing the entire garden to be understood at once.

The project encompassed hard and soft landscape design through to implementation, working closely with the appointed Spanish contractor and specialist suppliers. Plants were sourced and set out on site, alongside the design and coordination of bespoke woven screening, pots, water feature, garden lighting and house signage.
